Crested Butte Family Session

Fall has officially arrived, and the leaves are starting to fall. I am ready for some skiing, but I will miss all the wildflowers till next summer. I feel like I explored so much this summer, and yet I still have so much to see around here. It's been nice to settle into Crested Butte. I feel so thankful to be here, surrounding myself with this scenery has changed my life. I've traveled a lot, and been to so many places, but sticking around this valley has seemed like the best choice. Rooting down next to the aspens isn't a bad place to end up. Starting my photo ambitions all over again in a new place is the duality of exciting and intimidating

This summer I got to work with this beautiful family from Texas who came to visit Crested Butte. They were so fun, the kiddos offering up ideas + poses. Mom and dad making me smile with their smiles at each other. We explored this spectacular area on the Slate River. The wildflowers were sensational. This is easily one of my favorite views around the entire valley. Sunsets here never disappoint. Thank you to the Bertrand family for these memories we made. I hope to play in the river with the crew again one day :)
