Wildflower Family Session - Crested Butte

This family was visiting Crested Butte for a birthday and to see the wildflowers while they were peaking. It was Snehal (Mama's) birthday and she reached out for some photos. She wanted to get her family playing in these beautiful flowers that bring so many visitors to our community here. Crested Butte is known as "The wildflower capital of the world." It is so magical here when they start blooming. The end of June through July is the peak time to see a lot of the flowers around town, but at higher elevations they will stay till September. This spot we went to look for flowers is one of the best places to see the blooms. It is a mellow hike, but the flowers are endless. I had so much fun capturing the little ones during this photo session. You never know what a child will do or say next, and that keeps it entertaining. These two did so awesome. I am so thankful I got to work with this family while they were celebrating a big milestone in Snehal's life.
