Let me preface this blog post by saying: If you're getting married in 2026, I would love the chance to document your day. Each love story is unique, and I can't wait to tell yours. Reach out to book a time to chat about your big day.
Now onto the heart of the content for this post: I haven't booked many weddings since living out West. So, when Sarah E Photography reached out about being her second photographer for a wedding in Crested Butte, I absolutely said yes.
Annie and Daniel were such a sweet and kind couple. I felt lucky to witness such a perfect day with them. They got married up at Ten Peaks and used the Umbrella Bar area at Crested Butte Mountain Resort to set up their big reception. I would absolutely recommend this setup for a wedding or elopement in Crested Butte. The views are gorgeous in all directions, and everyone can make it to your ceremony with ease.
One of the highlights of the evening was the band playing "Pink Pony Club" twice in one night. Iconic moments like these make weddings unforgettable.
It was fun to watch a fellow photographer in her groove as well. I felt like I learned a lot from Sarah just by observing her work. I am eager to collaborate with more photographers after assisting her. I also can't wait for the day I book my first wedding in this little mountain town.
I have been missing the energy from weddings, but I know they will come back my way. Sarah so graciously let me use the photos I took at sunset for my portfolio, so here they are.
Congratulations, Daniel and Annie! Keep on dancing and laughing through life. Your love story is just beginning, and I am thrilled to have been a part of your special day.
